Stockholm Gets Real Dates in the Black Notebook

November 2021 at the Dada Kaffee in Zurich – after the Wiedikon kids' wall, the Klitty Crew fixes dates and a wall idea for the Stockholm trip in May 2022.

Dada Kaffee, Zurich – 23 November 2021, 19:30. First proper cold evening. Hot chocolate for everyone, except PoshX, who ordered ginger tea and lectured us gently about sugar.

The kids' wall Quick report: the Wiedikon wall is done. Eight characters from the workshop, painted big, names beside them. Kinky's lettering was straight. I checked twice. Some of the kittens came with their parents and pointed at "their" cats for an hour. Best opening we have ever had, and nobody gave a speech. Not even me.

Stockholm, for real Then the main point. Kinky's friends in Stockholm wrote back: they have a legal wall by the water and they'd love to paint with us. So tonight we fixed it in ink. Stockholm trip: the second half of May 2022, one week, four cats.

PoshX already asked for the days off. SinDee's slow route stays: train, ferry, one stop on the way. Everyone pays their own way, as always. We start saving and sketching now.

The wall idea The theme came almost too easily. Two crews, two cities, one bridge. Our side painted in Zurich colours – Limmat green, Turner gold from "Open Again". Their side in their own style. In the middle, cats shaking paws. SinDee wants the water to look like Baikal in winter. Of course she does.

Everyone brings a bridge sketch in January. December is for the sticker swap.
