Dada Kaffee, Zurich – 24 October 2019, 20:00. The Zurich air felt cold and clean again after Barcelona. I liked both. I sat down with my pink beanie still on, as always, and a bag of postcards for the others.
The rooftop
We painted the courtyard wall over two warm days. Four cats on a rooftop, looking at the sea, a tiny KC flag in the wind. Kinky's letters were perfect. Not a garden chair in sight. PoshX gave the water a soft orange shine at the edges, and when the late sun hit it, the wall and the sky almost matched.
Kinky's friends came with food and music. Neighbours leaned out of windows. One old fisherman cat said we had painted his view, only happier. I think that is the best review we have ever had.
On the free morning I climbed a hill alone and looked at the city for a long time. It was good to be quiet. Then I came down and ate three pastries. Also good.
Back to work
DeeNice did not let us dream for long. The notebook opened on the community-centre page.
Decision: the sketch night with Mira's neighbours happens in the hall in Oerlikon in mid-November. We bring paper, crayons and snacks. Everyone draws what they want on the wall. No idea is too small. PoshX will make a sign. Kinky will bring people, of course.
I want to make sure the children get the biggest sheets of paper. Their ideas are always the biggest.
