Wiedikon Wall Done, Sketchbooks Back, Berlin on the Horizon

Cold, dark, perfect for coffee. I ordered the spinach pastries and checked they were still vegetarian. They were. Some things in life are reliable.

The Wiedikon wall is done. It rained on the planned weekend, so we painted a week later, under a grey sky and in very warm socks. The tree, the cat family, the blurry leaves and the sharp leaves are all there. The owners hosted a little evening for the neighbours, and their dog sat in front of the wall like he had painted it himself. My letters came out great, by the way. The K looks like a K. SinDee says it looks like a K that once was a garden chair. I take that as progress.

Sketchbook evenings, season two

Too cold for walls now, so DeeNice reopened the Thursday sketchbook evenings at the back table. Last winter they gave us the ideas for Seventeen. This winter we want to draw characters: every crew member gets a proper look, so people can tell us apart from far away.

PoshX has an idea

Then PoshX put a city map on the table: Berlin. She grew up there and wants to show us the walls, the parks and the places that inspired her, Mode 2 included. Not now, but next year. DeeNice wrote "Berlin 2019?" in the notebook. The question mark is mostly decoration.
