Zurich – 22 October 2026, 18:22. Desk lamp, three library books about vampires, a red bow tie on the keyboard and a cape over the back of my chair.

Study first, bite later

You know me: before I do anything, I read about it. So this week I studied vampires. Old novels, a film guide, one very serious book about the history of capes. Result: a good vampire is polite, dresses well and never stays out after sunrise. I already do two of those.

The waistcoat stays orange

DeeNice wanted all black. I said a vampire can have a favourite colour too. We agreed on a red-and-black cape and my orange KC waistcoat underneath. The blue sneakers are not traditional. They are comfortable. A vampire who dances all night needs good shoes.

An interview at midnight

My plan for the party: one short interview with every costume at midnight. What are you, why, and what scares you? I have the questions ready in my notebook. Kinky already said she's scared of a K that looks like a garden chair. We will go deeper.

No candles, I promise

PoshX gave me a list. Point three was about capes and candles, with my name next to it. I have read it twice. I have signed it. I will stay away from candles.

Take the vampire home

The vampire T-shirt, the poster and the sticker are in my fan shop.
