Dada Kaffee, Zurich – 20 May 2025, 18:30. Five weeks of trains, mountains and very long walks. I walked into the Dada Kaffee in my green puffer jacket, which was far too warm for Zurich in May. The pink beanie, of course, stayed on.
What I saw I travelled east, slowly, on money I earned from two murals last autumn. I slept in small guesthouses and drew on station benches. I came back with a full sketchbook and a simple thought: people everywhere put stickers on things. Bus stops, guitar cases, water bottles. A sticker is a small free sentence.
The vote So we voted. Three KlittyCrewPower sticker directions, four cats, one notebook. - The fist-paw: yes, unanimous. - Portrait stickers of all of us: yes, but DeeNice wants hers to stay a mystery – just a dark silhouette with a notebook. - The garden chair K: yes, against Kinky's very loud protest.
I insisted on one thing: good paper, colours that do not fade in the first summer rain. If it carries our name, it must last. Nobody argued. They know me.
Kids first Before any of this reaches the outside world, we want to test the designs where honesty is guaranteed: a kids' drawing workshop in June, in a community room in Wiedikon. Children never pretend they like something.
I can't stand arrogance, so let the kids decide. – SinDee
