Kinky tries on all nine colours of the KC Love Icons T-shirts

Zurich – 27 October 2026, 11:05. My bedroom floor has disappeared under a rainbow of T-shirts, the mirror is leaning against the wardrobe and I have changed shirts so often that my ears are full of static.

Eight cats, a lot of hearts

The new KC Love Icons are simple on purpose: black cats, little hearts, nothing else. Two Cats Love, Cat Couple, Cat Loves Fish, Dog Loves Cat, Big & Little Cat, Chubby Cats Love, Slim Cats Love and Three Cats Love. I drew the first rough versions on a napkin at the Dada Kaffee, and somehow every napkin ended up with a heart on it. Lettering cat, sure, but sometimes one small heart says more than a whole alphabet.

The crew votes

Of course I asked everybody for their favourite. SinDee picked Big & Little Cat, because it reminds her of her grandmother walking her along the frozen lake. PoshX took Two Cats Love and said it looks like a running partner who waits for you at the top of the hill. VenRod chose Dog Loves Cat after a long pause and a note in his book: "unexpected alliances, study further". DeeNice only pointed at Three Cats Love and wrote something in the black notebook. I did not get to read it. I never do.

Nine colours, one mirror

Then I tried them all. White: fresh, like a new sketchbook page. Pink: obviously, it matches my claws. Yellow made me want to sing "Walking on Sunshine" into the hairbrush, so I did. The deep blue was so calm that I almost fell asleep standing. By shirt number seven I was winking at my own reflection and by number nine the mirror winked back. I'm keeping the pink one for painting and the yellow one for Mondays.
