A Third Night at the Globo – Zulu Lettre and Our Own Pages

Third Globo exhibition in Paris: the whole Klitty Crew studies Candy's newest Zulu Lettre issues and spots how fanzines connect walls, cities and generations.

Paris – 28 February 2026, 23:05. The Globo, our third time, and by now the staff know which cat always asks about vegetarian snacks.

The newest issues

Again an exhibition with the newest issues of Candy's Zulu Lettre, and again the whole crew came: DeeNice, Kinky, SinDee, PoshX and me. This time the pages hang in a long line by year, so you can walk through the zine's history like a timeline – from rough photocopies to sharp prints, from a few local walls to letters from all over the world.

PoshX spent most of the evening at the layout pages. "Composition is teamwork between images," she said. SinDee found the captions again. Kinky counted how many S, E and N letters she could find after our lesson with Yovan Perrez – she stopped at fifty.

Study notes

For my interview archive I note three things. First: a zine is a crew's memory, written while it happens. Second: simple, honest layouts last longer than clever ones. Third: every issue makes the next writer braver.

DeeNice closed her notebook and said our second zine issue comes out in spring – with a page about these three nights at the Globo. Nobody argued.

Study first, print later. – VenRod
