Ice Cats in Oerlikon and a Website Taking Shape

February meeting at the Dada Kaffee in Zurich: the winter mural in Oerlikon is done and the crew reviews the first pages of klittycrew.com.

Dada Kaffee, Zurich – 19 February 2026, 20:45. Late start – my shift ended at eight and I ran here, literally. The others greeted me with a slice of carrot cake and a laptop already open.

"Baikal on Ice" The winter wall in Oerlikon is finished. Four cats skating on a frozen lake, SinDee in front with her scarf flying. I painted the ice the way Monet painted snow – blue, violet, a hint of pink, never just white. Kinky added a garden chair frozen into the lake. Of course she did.

The owner invited his neighbours for tea on the last day. Two of them asked for stickers. We had none to give. Soon.

The website, first look The tuxedo cat sent us the first pages of klittycrew.com. We clicked through them together, four heads around one small screen.

What we liked: the mural archive, wall by wall, with short stories. What we changed: my page needs more colour and fewer words. Kinky's page needs fewer exclamation marks. SinDee's page is perfect, she says. DeeNice still has no page and still smiles about it.

Next steps - Sticker shop pages built in March, launch in April. - Each of us chooses one favourite mural photo for her page. - I bring The Magic Flute to the next meeting. One aria. They promised to listen.

Teamwork on a laptop is still teamwork. Just with smaller brushes. – PoshX
