Three weeks after we founded the crew at 17:17, we met again at the table in the back. It was warm, the windows were open, and Kinky had already asked twice whether the snacks were vegetarian before anyone had sat down.

The notebook opens

I bought a black notebook for the occasion. Page one says "Klitty Crew" and nothing else, because I wanted to see who would write in it first. SinDee did. She wrote "wall" and underlined it three times. Fair enough. We have the name, we have the badge idea, but we have not painted a single thing together yet.

Looking for a wall

So that is the plan for August: find a first legal wall. Kinky and SinDee will walk Kreis 5 this week and talk to owners of courtyards, garages and fences. Nobody paints anything without a clear yes. PoshX can only join on her day off after a run of night shifts, so she offered to draw the first sketch at home instead.

We also agreed on a working title for the first piece. It should simply say hello to the city. Kinky suggested "KC Hello", and nobody had a better idea before the coffee went cold.

Small rules

Three rules went into the notebook: we always ask first, we always clean up, and we always paint together. Kinky added a fourth one in pink: "AC/DC on the way home." I did not cross it out.
